Read what children and parents say ......

Very professional. I liked the way the reminder sheet was personalised for my son.

It was invaluable. It can be really stressful trying to explain to your child just how important an interview can be. Marilyn took that stress away and boosted Oliver's confidence ten fold.

I really enjoyed it. I realised there was nothing to be scared of after all!

Her vast experience about the different types of questions the schools might ask was hugely insighful.

About me

I am an interview trainer (CRB checked) based in South West London. I have over 20 years experience in media training and have been helping hundreds of children for the last seven years to prepare for their private secondary school, college and university interviews.

As any adult will know, interviews can be daunting at the best of times and the old adage "to fail to prepare is to prepare to fail" is never more true than during these moments!

My interview technique advice will help boost your child's confidence and give them clear strategies on how to communicate effectively.

With children there should never be a 'one size fits all' approach - that's why my training is tailor made to suit each child's individual needs.

Top 4 tips for parents

1. Help your child to stay calm by keeping calm yourself!

2. Try and do a tour of the school with your child before they do the interview

3. Explain that the interviews are just a "chat" and not a test

4. Contact the school secretary if you're unsure of what's required on the day
